Who are the people that are taking the lead in disrupting the future of work?
They’re the official Disruptors (Organizers) of DisruptHR events held in cities around the world.
Each week, we’ll introduce you to one of these intelligent, inspiring, and beautiful people (okay, pick two) who have stepped up, and volunteered to organize a Disrupt HR event in their city.

How did you first hear about DisruptHR?
I was searching Google for the phrase “disrupt HR”, and came across the website and videos.
Why did you decide to raise your hand and become an organizer for DisruptHR events in Dallas?
We needed to have a DisruptHR presence here in Dallas, and I couldn’t talk anyone else into doing it. 🙂
How many events have you organized?
We had our first event in September 2016, with over 40 people in attendance. It was a great start, and I expect we’ll have many more next time!
What types of people attended your event?
We had a great mix of HR practitioners, HR consultants, and small business owners in attendance.
What are you most proud of in regards to being involved with DisruptHR events?
Connecting with people in my community.
What kind of feedback did you receive from those who attended the first DisruptHR Dallas event?
“This is a fabulous forum, and I am committed to helping you get more people here next time to hear these great speakers!”
What is your favorite DisruptHR Talk, and why?
Greg Roche‘s DisruptHR Denver talk – “Idea Sex in Talent Management” – gets across an important point in a fun and entertaining way.

Based off of the Talks and conversations at your event, what do you feel are the areas with the biggest opportunity for disruption?
Culture change, and increasing employee engagement.
What excites you or frustrates you about the future of work, your career and/or DisruptHR?
As a consultant focused on culture change and people program improvements, I find that HR is often a roadblock rather than an advocate. We need to change that!
