Encourage your employees to work hard, learn new skills and mold their careers around their strengths and experience.
No matter the type of company you represent, or whether you have 15 or 500 employees, there are people in your organization that have talents and passions that you don’t know about. Use that to solve problems, fill positions, and to build the kind of culture that rewards hard work and experience – even if that experience isn’t necessarily gained in the workplace.
When a positions opens up in your company, ask yourself if there is a person that you already see every day who can do this. Your company is full of people that you liked enough to hire already. Hire them again!
Building a culture that shows that hard work and experience pays off in your organization is a priceless return on investment.
Your people are your most important asset, and providing them an outlet to grow in your organization is your most important mission.
